Route B was timed on 11 mornings, in minutes: 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 11, 12, 13, 13, 15 Find the five-number summary for Route B, and say which route you would recommend to someone who must not be late, giving the reason from the two summaries.

    With 11 ordered values the median is a single value, and each quartile is the median of the five values on its side of it. Once both summaries are in front of you, compare centre and spread separately — they can point different ways.
