First sort the data. For the $\text{IQR}$ rule, find $Q_{1}$ and $Q_{3}$ , then check if any values fall below $Q_{1} - 1.5 \times \text{IQR}$ or above $Q_{3} + 1.5 \times \text{IQR}$ .
